Free
Basic website monitoring and health reports.
For a website that is up and working, where the thing you need is to hear about trouble before your customers do.
What this plan does
- We check that your website is up and answering, around the clock.
- We check the security certificate that puts the padlock in the address bar, and warn you before it runs out.
- We check that your address records still point where they should.
- You get told when something is wrong, in plain language.
- Nothing to connect. We need no access to how your website is built.
What it does not do
- We do not fix anything on this plan — we tell you, and the fixing is yours.
- We watch the outside of your website, not what happens inside it.
Advanced
Your website is continuously monitored in more detail. We detect problems and notify you.
For a website your business depends on, where knowing something broke is not enough — you need to know what broke and when.
What this plan does
- Everything in the plan below.
- Deeper checking, so we catch problems that a simple up-or-down check misses.
- We watch the website itself as it runs, not only whether it answers.
- When something is wrong we look into it and work out what it is.
- Detailed reports on how your website has been, kept over time.
- The records your website and your server keep, gathered where you can read them.
- Notices in your account as well as by email, so nothing is missed.
- Connect where your website is kept, so we can see what changed and when.
What it does not do
- We do not change your website on this plan. We find it, we explain it, you decide.
Professional
Your website is continuously monitored and covered problems are investigated and resolved according to your permissions.
For a website that has to keep working, where you would rather we got on with it than sent you a list.
What this plan does
- Everything in the plans below.
- When we find a problem we cover, we look into it and work out what caused it.
- We prepare a fix and check it before it goes anywhere near your live website.
- Changes are made in a controlled way, recorded, and reversible.
- We put the fix in place and then check that it really worked.
- You are told when it is fixed, and what was changed.
What it does not do
- Not every problem is one we cover. When it is not, we tell you what we found and what to do about it.
- We work within the permissions you have given us. Anything beyond them we ask about first, and we wait.
One thing worth knowing about the free plan
The free plan cannot spend money on your behalf, and that is enforced in the system rather than promised on this page. It means the free checks are the cheap ones — which is also why they can run for you indefinitely without us needing your card.
